Is your laptop not charging anymore? Sometimes it could be just a bad AC adapter.  Do you have to wiggle the tip of the charger (AC adapter) for the laptop to start or the battery to charge?  

Most likely, the DC Jack needs to be replaced. OCD Computer Repair provides DC jack (power jack/connector) fix for a flat rate fee of $120 including parts. Please send us an email with your computer make/model information if available so we can reply with an accurate price. We will order the part in advance (if not in stock) so it is here when you laptop arrives.

In worst cases, it could be the motherboard failing.  When this happens, sometimes customers 

prefer not to fix it, and just buy a new one. We can assist with the data transfer as well.
